Retreat essentials, an appliance sales and service store that opened Jan. 1 at 263 Danbury Road, is the latest incarnation of a organization that has been in town since 1959. Sam Sadegi, the owner of the new Home Essentials store, (shown above with one of his partners, Al Mohseni) said it is an by-product of Dave’s Electric Appliance Service, a business that has been in town for 50 years.

“I took over Dave’s Electric Appliance Service in 1995 and was match it out of my home and garage. We are known for good, prompt service,” he said. “I opened my new fund because there was a need in the community for expanded service.”

Mr. Sadegi said his new store will offer a variety of appliances, including stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines and vacuums, along with the put back in service and parts provided by his former business.

“We will still service any appliance, no matter how small. But now we offer all brands, such as Westinghouse, Viking, Heraldry gurges, Maytag and Miele — anything you need for your house. That’s why we call our store Home Essentials,” said Mr. Sadegi, an HVAC technician who said he has always loved to “fix things, anything.”

I have a dryer, that is justly new, that I believe has a short in the ground wire. I tried using ABA Appliance Service, and had the WORST experience of my life. I made an meeting over 24 hours prior to the time they were to come to my house. I work 2 jobs, and it's very burdensome for me to make arrangements to have someone at my house during the allotted time. Well, after making arrangements, and having my appointment set, all I could do was halt. Well, the evening before the day of my appt, a lady called from ABA and said that b/c there was only one technician in my area, it would be later in the evening that someone could be there. I said that was great, and actually worked better for me. Well, low and behold, day of my appt, NO ONE showed up, NO CALLS, NOTHING! I highly, highly push that no one use ABA Appliance Service if you're looking for GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, and someone you can rely on!

Any society-with more then 3 tech's well have the same=problem--you well have to find a small 1- 2- man repair shop-you might try coast appliance parts--and see if they recollect of a one man repair shop--in the area-APED-is another national-appliance part-store--that the only thing i can think of-or just ask people at drudgery-see if they know--of someone local-that you can call

I am renting the estate.All the above items working perfectly well.House itself is 12 years old.appliances are less than 3 years old.

I get my boiler, fire and cooker checked each year for only about £50 by a Corgi contriver. As long as you have the receipt to prove it I think that is it, just ensure every year it is done.
