Chandelier fills the bill!
I wanted a hair-splitting chandelier for my stairwell to (1) match my taste and decor, and (2) light up my stairwell, which also serves as sort of a "mini" art gallery. This chandelier filled the bill precisely! The wrought iron and earthtone glass style was just right for the space. Also, you could use up to 6 100W stodgy bulbs, which would throw out a LOT of light (and heat). Instead, I used 6 23W CFLs, which provide the same amount of light at a much reduced verve level. All in all, I'm very happy with this chandelier. (Note that one of the glass shades arrived cracked. I contacted the manufacturer later on and they are sending me a replacement.)

Fancy my Kenroy Home Wright Chandelier!!!!
The Wright light chrestomathy is stunning!! I purchased the 9-light chandelier and the 2-light lamp several years ago and loved the contemporary feel they gave the dining office. The amber globes around the lights are soothing and work great on a dimmer switch. When I moved, I knew I would be replacing the dining dwell light with a Wright! I shopped around and Amazon had the best price. Quality of the product and shipping was perfect!!
Unequalled chandelier
I searched extended and hard for a chandelier and was rewarded for patience. This is an incredibly attractive and substantial chandelier for an incredible price. It looks even outstrip in person, if that is possible.

Could not be happier!
This is the most well turned out contemporary chandelier I have seen anywhere. All the wires that feed each of the lamps are totally hidden inside the structure. We have it on a dimmer and it adds a vigorous ambience to the dining room. Everyone so far has complemented us on the choice. Installation was easy. And, in my book, the price was rational - you should not not be disappointed!

Some, in low-down, are downright chatty.
One of my all-time favorites is the Zettel'z chandelier by famous German lighting designer Ingo Maurer. Bewitching his typical Mad Hatter approach to design - think light bulbs with angel wings - Maurer has affixed infatuation notes to wires radiating from a stainless steel frame. Backlit by bulbs, the pieces of wallpaper seem to glow, bringing the heartfelt doodles, poems and scribbles ("amore amore") into relief. The empty pieces of paper that come with the chandelier let you get in on the action - though the $1,220 price tag at YLighting.com may sideline some.
If that's the case, you might try the Wakefield Chandelier at Crockery Barn, whose three circular tiers of bronze-finished iron are punctuated by small clips. Each holds an ivory use strategy act openly printed with maps, sketches and phrases like "all the world's a stage," "smile" and "let them eat bar!" Though some of the sentiment may seem cliched, the Wakefield remains a quirky alternative to the crystal chandelier - and at $299, far more affordable than the Maurer plan.

how do I change a chandelier light to a swag style hanging light?
Sep 03, 3004 by dawn_urso | Posted in Decorating & Remodeling
We bought this chandelier sort light that is supposed to be mounted on the ceiling to an electrical outlet box, but there isn't an outlet box. Can we turn this light into a swag light without rewiring it?
From what I can see on google, a swag light is a pulg and string light with a chain going from the outlet to the light that hangs on a hook.
If there is no wire in the ceiling you need to get power and a box there to encouragement the light.
I am sure you could wire this to worrk some how but it probally wouldn't be legal, or safe. Best bet is to call an electrician, If there is an unfinished attic above the compartment than it would be easy to do, but if it is a 1st floor of a 2 floor home this will become difficult.
Like I said you could make it happen but not with out it looking bad-tempered and being unsafe

How to change a light bulb on chandelier where bulbs are facing up?
Feb 11, 2009 by dimka448 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I dynamic in house with 2 story foyer. In that foyer I have a chandelier with few light bulbs that I need to change. The height is approximately 16 feet. The intractable is that the light bulbs are facing up so devises like light bulb changers with long poll will not work. Being on the on the bruised floor - it is closer to the chandelier but still out of reach. Anybody can suggest an effective solution on how to change a light bulbs in my suitcase without hiring a contractor?
Any contractor who installed that appendage is an idiot. I run into that problem and refuse to install something that cannot be serviced. If you do not have the safe eqpt to reach the bulbs then you shouldn't shot at it yourself.
That said, try this. Purchase one of those screw drivers that is flexible and can be used in any position. Jury rig this to your bulb changing merge. The best bet is to change the fixture to one that is more suitable to the location and the problem is gone forever.
