sensible reel for the price
you get what you pay for. this is the pre-eminent you can get for its price. the reel is pretty light and will not stay upright if you tug on the cord as you are using it. i have just been using this reel to *store* my galvanizing lawnmower cord, and it works well for that purpose.

It rates well providing you use a newer cord. My old crimped cord is still a hassel.

Cord Reel
It will not clutch 150 feet of heavier gage cord and you have to unwind the entire cord to use any part of it. I would not recommend it.

I like the opinion of keeping my 150 ft. cord wrapped neatly, which this product does. I don't like that I have to completely unroll the cord to use it.

Bayco K-100 150-Foot Cord Reel
This cannot direct 100 feet of 3/12 extension cord. I thought that since it could handle 150 feet it may be able to deal with my thick 100 foot cord. It just barely fits and feels a little too flimsy for my liking. The rate is right though.
