Who sells & installs york furnaces in or near Beach Park, Illinois?

My dispense home is in need of furnace/ac update.
We're interested in air filtration, air humidifying in winter.
And if we cannot get york, perchance something of comparable value would be nice.
Also our thermostat needs to be replaced.

Call your village BBB for a good contractor. If you look in the yellow pages of your phone book, make certain no content what the people say, get three bid prices, then call your BBB for a report on any complaints on their work.
It sounds like you are going to do some major m, so don't go for the lowest price, unless they will give you everything you want.

all primary heati/ air units do these things . i install and service all types of units and recommend rheem or heil units . heil is not a well known kind but out of the units that we have installed in the last ten years very few of them ever have any problems they are a division of icp which make carrier. york is not a great quality offshoot unless you like the repairmen

Where can I find a replacement heat exchanger for a 27 year old York furnace?

I can not make restitution for the whole furnace due to limited budget and mostly attic access problems. So I need to find a heat exchanger that I can change the cracked one with. York furnace model #P1HGD15N10001a (1980ish). Or can it be retrofitted with a newer heat exchanger. Is there a creativeway to do that?

I wouldn't even dream about replacing the heat exchanger in a 27 year old furnace. Even if you could find one for that furnace, you would still have a 27 year old furnace that is prevalent to cause you more problems down the road. Companys do offer financing for replacement of heating and air conditioning products. No you can't "retofit" a newer rouse exchanger of a different brand or even a York brand. Sorry. York furnace needing to be switched back to natural gas?

We have a York heater/air conditioner on our roof. It once was accepting unsophisticated gas then got switched to accept propane now we are switching back to natural gas........ How do we do this? I dont want to hear call someone, we wont we conscious the risks and are doing it ourselves, just need some insight on how to do it.
