try another provider AND another discredit
This looks like a figure ripoff from the previous review (plus shipping!).
For a 250v 5amp fuse try cooper bussman fuses from Amazon. Perfect fuses. Low low prices. (Make sure the fuse has the right 'blowing" profie---i.e. fast, slow, etc.)

Take heed
In defiance of the image shown and the lack of any written description, the item is actually a single fuse. It came tucked in a counterfeit baggie in a thinly padded envelope that looked like it had been run over by a truck. I contacted the company and received the following reply:
"It is indeed only one fuse , By the way the manuf. has the same perception .
However we will correct this asap.
We apologize for any errors & inconveniences & thank you for your patronage
Sincerely ,
Adorama Character Service Dept."
Of course, I didn't BUY this item from the manufacturer's web site nor do I care what is on ANOTHER web site. I ended up paying $12.95 for a pick fuse. It took them more than a month to get it to me. It was sent UPS for which I was sharged $7.95 for a envelope that weighed less than an ounce. I haven't tried the fuse yet but I'm not sure of its condition considering how it was shipped.

Will a 15a 250v fuse work with a 20amp rated in-line fuse holder?
Oct 16, 2007 by Mr. E | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I impecuniousness to replace the fuse on my xbox. I know i need a 15 amp 250 volt fuse and an in-line fuse holder, but i can't find a 15amp rated in-sell out fuse holder. Will the 20 amp rated one work? Does anyone know what kind of external power provisioning i could use and the aproximate cost? I am trying to save money and space by just replacing the fuse. Thanks for any advise!
Yes it will employment. The 15 amp fuse will fit in the 20 amp rated holder. Don't use a 20 amp fuse, stay with the 15.
I don't know what you are irksome to do with the external power supply. I'll let one of your fellow gamers answer that part.

There may be a affront size difference in the fuses, if you are using cartridge fuses. These look like shot gun shells.
Using a 20amp fuse should not harm anything!! i would use the required 20 amp fuses.
Rawstuff 007 | Oct 16, 2007
You can use the 20amp fuse holder and every feeling will be just fine.
As for the power supply, you can get them pretty cheap.
Good luck

NEVER supplant a smaller fuse with a larger fuse. There is a reason that its 15 amps, going larger could damage the x box.

NEVER us a fuse that is larger than what is hypothesize to be used!!! You will wind up overheating the wires and causing a fire. By trying to save money, you will cost yourself more in the yearn run. I would call an Electrician and see if they could tell you where to find the correct fuse.

You can get the items you indigence by going to an elect. supply store. The thing that you need to remember is like others have said DO NOT mutate the amps of the fuse!! BUSS FUSE, or LITTLE FUSE have in line fuse holders and remember that the fuse has to be rated at least 250 volts. And memorialize it is most likely a fast acting glass fuse being about 3/4"-1"

What AMP rating should a 250V fuse have to roughly replace a 10A 120V fuse?
Dec 15, 2007 by Buh Ryan | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Offer you, I am glad to hear that the 250V fuse will work. I am just replacing a fuse in a 120V device that burned out. I am not stressful to convert it for 250V use.
All of the answers are change. I am an industrial electrician. All fuses should be rated for a higher voltage than what is being used. It is the current that you really call to be concerned with. For instance, on 24 Volt controls all of our fuses are rated at 120V. on 220V. circuits we use 600V rated fuses.

Can I use a 4A/250V fuse to replace a 4A/32V fuse?
Sep 03, 1247 by jvelvetpants | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
On my small craft, there is a switch on the instrument panel that has a blown fuse. The fuse that was in there was a 4A/32V fuse. I bought some 4A fuses, but they are 250V fuses. I tried a combine and they immediately blew. Is this becasue they are the wrong voltage or should I start looking elsewhere for the cause? Is it worth dispiriting a 4A/32V fuse?
You can use a 250v fuse in a 32v, practice, but not in reverse. I would grab a tester, isolate the circuit you are working on, sounds like you have a straight cut to ground.
