so i was driving my car last endlessly, and all of the sudden, my speedo and tach went hywire!(it would jump to 100 back to 0 then up again, until both of em were on 0) then i look over to my gas/temp gauge

most odds-on one of your ground wires have come
undone or corroded or bad cell on battery.

Sounds like a bad battery that cant carry a charge, the inst panel is all electric and so are the sensors to they give wonky readings on low juice. Check the battery terminals and energy wires for corrosion and any auto parts store can do a load test
