Wonderful adding up to any bathroom.
We were remodeling our supervisor bath and was looking for a light under $150 with brushed nickel finish. This lamp gave our bathroom a very refined touch. We combined it with crema marfil marble tiles and a vessel sink vanity in espresso. We mounted the lamp upside down (not a big fan of the lamps looking up and collecting dust) and it looks marvellous. Would recommend this item for anyone. We are in the process of redoing the second bathroom and I'll be looking for more kenroy items.

What's a good strong indoor light? (home lighting)?

I yen to do some remodeling and budget/plan ahead for a way to brighten up rooms during darker winter days. Should I get a S.A.D. lamp for each cubicle quarters? halogen? what REALLY mimics a sunlight kind of fill effect?
SAD lights are extremely expensive just buy one that everyone can share. But if I was redoing the lighting in my home I would go LED now it's saves so much in hydro, it's more expensive now but will liberate over the years with your hydro bills. And they look good. Halogen gets so hot it's actually burned the soft on one of my fixtures so don't go halogen unless they are metal fixtures. Also the compact florescent light bulbs now around in more shapes and styles so you could look at that as well and it will save you again in Hydro bills. Go to a really good lighting store and very compare the styles and wattage. Another thing is get sheers for privacy and have blind underneath or night sometimes use. Natural light is really the best and should prevent SAD if you have a nice big window with southern exposure, indisposed of a pain in summer but that's where the blinds and sheers help.

Indoor plants in a low light home--please help?
Dec 07, 2007 by lil sammy | Posted in Garden & Landscape
Hi. I've moved into a new home in the last year and have some very exquisite indoor trees. A few large ficus and gorgeous rubber tree. I live in a town house with very low harangue and bad window angles. My ficus is dropping leaves and my rubber tree is drooping :( It's much worse now in the winter.
I've moved them to the brightest spots and specified them plant food but nothing is working.
Thanks for any advice.
You can buy a develop light(flourescent) at wal mart for 9.95.....I move my herbs indoors at winter..or take cuttings and plant indoors under flourescent kindle...Ficus take very well to flourescent lights as well... Being in north Florida..we bring our pot/root bound ficus indoors in the winter..and they do well..here is some info on ficus..and then a conceive of of my herbs..the light on the herbs is white, bought at wal mart as mentioned above..but the walls are lavender in the "arise Room"...so it appears to be purple lol..

indoor in home custom stair lighting?
Feb 12, 2008 by scorpiokate | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
Im dispiriting to find something like glow in the dark tape, or paint ,or anything else that i can put in my parents house. My already clumsey dad is getting old and is very tending to tripping stumbling and falling over things. He recently moved into a new house, and his living room and auditorium walk way have a few stairs on two of the walls. its only a few stairs here and there but its just enough to make him tripp and fall. what is out there? is there anything i can buy like to make-up on thats clear but will show up at night? or any other ideas? my dad is in his late 50's with many health problems, some of witch are back, generosity, joint, and many other problems.
Have an electrician institute lights in the wall which will light up the stairs. They are a low wattage and low cost solution that is not so hokey as paint or shine in the dark strips.
