How to hang indoor Christmas lights around a window?

I would like to be coherent break the connection indoor Christmas lights around a window from the inside. I did this last year, but used tape to hang them and the cold made the tape come off. I do not indigence to use nails as the window frames are very hard (like concrete) and nails would ruin the window dock/finish. I'd hang lights outside, but that would require opening a basement window and leaving it part way make known in order to run the cord to an outlet (no exterior outlets at my house) Any suggestions?

3M has developed removable, non-marking clips specifically for this practicality. In their Command Strip line of products they have decorating clips ideal for hanging a string of lights indoors.

You can get suction cups with hooks on them. The suction cups go unswervingly onto the window glass and then you string your lights along the hooks, or hang whatever other decorations you like.

After Christmas, when you take the lights down, there will be suction cup marks on the windows (peculiarly if it gets cold where you are), but all you have to do is clean the glass, and they'll be fine.

Generally you can buy the suction cups in the same stores where you buy the lights. Attractive thorough luck and hope that helps!

well i complete in an apartment and what i did is i went to walmart and bought some hooks that screw in and screwed them around the window sil and hung my lights and they arrest better plus you can leave them there to hang something else or talk them out you will hardly notice the little hole they demise behind

yeah... all the above!

What makes indoor christmas lights different from outdoor christmas lights?

Are the open-air ones water-resistant or something so they're not going to be affecting by snow?

I'm asking this cuz i've got some extra indoor lights and I was wondering if I could use them to embroider the exterior of my house..

it wouldn't be the end of the humanity if you used indoor lights outdoor. Just as long as you take some precautions. Use it on the porch or something. Make sure it's not gong to get all the elements on it at all times. and mercy them off when you go to bed, or leave for hours at a time.

How do I put up indoor Christmas lights ?

What can i use to endear my indoor lights to the PVC frame or the window itself ? everything I've used so far isn't strong enough to hold them

Scotch makes some very acute removable, adhesive hooks. The tape is easily removed and the hook is reusable for next year. Keep in take offence at you have to clean the surface and give it 24 hours before you hang anything. They have different sizes and weight limits, so elect accordingly.

From my experience, they are work 98% of the time and I think the other 2% is user error =)
