Supertex Reports Third Fiscal Quarter Results CNNMoney.com (press release)
Supertex, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUPX) today reported monetary results for the third fiscal quarter ended December 26, 2009. Net sales for the third fiscal quarter were $16,735,000, a 5% proliferation compared to the prior quarter of $15,875,000 and a 5% decrease compared to $17,596,000 in the same quarter last year. On a GAAP constituent, net income in the third fiscal quarter was $1,974,000, or $0.15 per diluted share, as compared with $1,083,000 or $0.08 per diluted portion in the prior fiscal quarter and $2,612,000 or $0.20 per diluted share in the same fiscal quarter of the latest fiscal year.
For the first nine months ended December 26, 2009, net sales were $46,165,000 compared to $63,800,000 for the same full stop of the prior fiscal year, and on a GAAP basis, net income was $3,962,000, or $0.31 per diluted appropriation, as compared with $11,601,000, or $0.90 per diluted share, in the same period of the prior fiscal year.
Non-GAAP earnings per diluted dole out for the third fiscal quarter were $0.22, excluding pre-tax employee stock-based compensation of $874,000, compared to $0.15 in the till quarter, excluding pre-tax employee stock-based compensation of $835,000, and $0.25 in the same quarter of the late fiscal year, excluding pretax employee stock-based compensation of $695,000. For the nine months ended December 26, 2009, non-GAAP net revenues per diluted share was $0.49, excluding pre-tax employee stock-based compensation of $2,529,000, as compared to $1.05 for the same days of the prior fiscal year, excluding pre-tax employee stock-based compensation of $2,039,000.
Why cant I use indoor LED lights outdoors?
Some LED giddy packages state FOR INDOOR USE ONLY and they state they are water and weather resistant. If its not the weather, what is then the problem? I notice the wire is thinner.
Not wash lavishly/Weather- resistant is much different from water/weather-PROOF. Sooner or later the casings of the LED's will make grow moisture and corrode or short. If you need them say for a one-night party though you should be fine.

why take the risk of them short out. the warning is there for a reason I suggest you follow it or contact the company and ask them why indoor lights shouldn't be acclimated to outdoors.
You equitable have to make sure they lights are made for outdoors.. If they are not, and you use them anyways, it could be a possible fire hazard or electrocution may occur if they become wet. Straight remember that there are reasons they are labeled that way and to take it seriously. =)

it'll never employment unless your trying to grow mold / fungus. Not full spectrum
What is the best internet source for LED lights and panels? Focus on indoor grow lights.?
I'm most interested in wholesale kits with A/C adapters and bung-in boards so I can build my own panels. For the LED lights themselves I'm looking for red and blue lights, as those are best for growing plants indoors. Thanks!
