2700K
I haven't actually done much with these lights yet, just unpacked one and took a few photos with one bulb. White balance is coming in at very strict to 2700K. I wish these had CRI rating, but I can't complain for a sub one dollar product. So far very worth the price. Will continue on later with a bank of these bulbs and see how it preforms then.

packed CFL replacement lighting
These CFLs give off a polite warm, golden light. I have them in several places around the house including the bathroom and find them a better possibility than LED lighting at present. Great value as well.
a major deal at this price . . .
Prices at Amazon often vacillate, but $6.99 for an eight pack of CFL's (compact fluorescent lamps), is a very good price, especially if you get free shipping. These 13W lamps are very foolish, only 1.5 inches in diameter, and 3.9 inches high (not including the screw in base). This smaller extent lamp is ideal for use with light fixtures with a diffuser or lens, where the compartment for the lamps is small.
Lamp color is prudent in degrees Kelvin, and these are rated at 2700 degrees K. Color perception varies from person to themselves, but these lamps are on the "warm" side, closer to incandescent light, and nicely suited for home use. The light output from a 13W CFL, is harshly equivalent to a 60W incandescent lamp, and unless used in tandem, are probably best suited for regular use applications.
These particular lamps are manufactured in China. Rated life is 8000 hours (take 333 days), with an initial output of 825 lumens. Lamp life is based on display under ideal conditions in a testing lab. Turning a lamp on and off, shortens its life, and actual lamp vital spark is almost always shorter than the rated life. Even assuming you get as little as 80% of the rated life, 87 cents per lamp is still a good-looking good deal.

distinguished price for these bulbs
The evaluation for these bulbs is comparable, if not better, than just about any home improvement store's prices.
I needed to substitute some hot burning, incandescent bulbs in a light fixture in my dining room.
These burn much cooler and the softer endurable for a dining room is very effective.
I would not recommend these bulbs for reading with though.

A Must Have for the 21st Century Available
There is in reality no other place to pick up an 8 pack of these for this price. They come from a name brand company and they are more beneficial for everyone. It not only lasts longer than incandescents but also costs less to silly. The size of them may be an issue for some if you are placing these in tight places, since they do stick out maybe a mm or two more than its incandescent equivalent. I would once recommend picking these up and replacing all those money spending incandescents anyone has around their house.

CFL exchange gets support Manila Bulletin
18.01.10
SM Prime Holdings Inc. through its environmental body and in partnership with the Department of Energy recently launched a project entitled “Switch Na Sa CFL” in its 20 malls.
The CFL Barter project is part of the Philippine Energy Efficiency Project of the DOE to reduce energy consumption, conserve coal and corn natural resources in the country.
According to the DOE, CFLs or compact fluorescent lamps are a more efficient substitute to regular incandescent light bulbs because it has a longer life span of 6,000 to 10,000 hours, uses 70-80 percent less forcefulness and offers the same amount of light.
CFLs are now available for exchange at designated SM CFL Exchange booths for free. All you have to do is diminish your October 2009 electric bill together with your functional incandescent bulbs to the CFL Claim Center at SM supermalls, shift over your functional incandescent bulbs and show your electric bill to the DOE representative manning the center for stamping, and you are ready to inaugurate your newly acquired CFL in your household.

I have installed some CFL Lightbulbs that are advertised to last 5 years, but they have burned out in about 6 months with very centre use. What's the deal?
I also physiognomy same problem it may be because of voltage fluctuation, or frequent on/off operation .If they advertise 5 years ,better retiurn to them , they have to substitute it free of cost.If all customer do like this they will not cheat like this,Go for china bulbs or cheaper one it will travail better than expensive bulbs.

Does anyone use the new CFL lightbulbs and what savings on your energy bill have you experienced?
Jun 30, 2007 by donald369 | Posted in Green Living
I would have regard for switching to the CFL lightbulbs but I want to be sure I can notice a savings on energy cost before I make the investment of buying these new lightbulbs. Also, are you getting the same amount of hours routine as regular bulbs, do they last as long as tradition lightbulbs. Thanks all.
I use them exclusively, and my galvanizing bill has gone down around $10 per month. They also last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs.

CFL lightbulbs?
Aug 04, 2007 by AG | Posted in Green Living
Do you use them? What are the pluses and minuses compared to "ruly" lightbulbs (for example, Philips 60 watt medium base bulbs, etc.)? Are they more high-priced than "regular" lightbulbs and do they last as long?
They are extraordinary, I have changed most of them in my house.
The only minor drawback is most of them have a bluer, whiter light (like fluorescents) and some people like the warmer yellow firelight of an old-fashioned bulb. They are usually about 2x the cost of regular bulbs, but here in California I often see them on special with a discount from Edison and reserve up on them then.
The good news is you can also replace them gradually. Nobody said you have to spend $100 on lightbulbs in one shopping trip. Upright buy some every time you go shopping and they'll be replaced before you know it. They do save energy, use less than 25% watts, retain money, give off bright light, and are easy to use. They also last just as long or longer. On each package it gives the hours and you can the same class with packages side-by-side.
The only true minus is they don't work well with dimmer switches. They flicker on low settings. But that's about it!
