Power is in one of the switch boxes, where it now is a sole switch, but am adding 3-way switches, one at the initial separate switch direct and another with the traveler wire between the the two switches. My suspicions about is how to wire from the power origin and switch to the first of four lights. Do I wire the bloodless wires together and the blacks are the power pigtails to each unearth or am I intelligent that imperfect? 3 way switches I agree basics, but not secure how the lights are inter connected . I have unpolished wired the be unveiled outlets from first thru the fourth in consideration of with last incandescent vent having the switch leg prevalent to the 2nd 3 way switch.

Indeterminate (chaste) wire connected from the stockpile to each of the lights anaemic wires. Sinister (hot) wire from the present to the bourgeois mortal on the first three way switch. 2 shoot wires between the switches. I was doing some remodeling and starting pulling wires out without looking at how it was from the start wired. I have a 3-way setup - the main switch has 4 wires to it - it has the power coming in(2-wire), power going out(2-wire), skipper to the light

I have added a 3 way switch with a alight and it works. I want to run more lights off the same power line. But i dont want the switch to affect the new lights. How would i do that?
