What are the differences between network line continuity testers and network cable testers?
Mar 05, 2008 by Kumosaki | Posted in Computer Networking
The continuity tester only checks to map the cables end to end, pin to pin to see if they can take electric current.
Network cable testers perform a whole series of test to see if the cabling plant can take signals up to a set of specifications. The network cable tester will you if that cable can carry a 10M, 100M or 1G signal per the foreign specifications. THink of it as a stress test. IF it were a pipeline, the continuity tester would tell you the pipe can win water. The network tester would tell you the rated water pressure for the pipe.

Question about the pregnancy line on test?
May 19, 5838 by Lacey | Posted in Pregnancy
I took a test the day before my space and it came back positive with a very very dark line much darker than the tester line? Does this mean there is a lot of pregnancy hormone in my system and is tha a edible sign?
how do you use a line tone / probe tester for continutity testing?
Jul 06, 2008 by yzman | Posted in Other - Electronics
i have a fundamental line toner with a probe that i use to find lines... then i saw one at the store that says for continutity testing also on the box... is that a precise feature that i don't have or just don't know that i do?
i need to test a line for continuity and don't hope for to buy another device if mine can do it, but i threw away the box so can't tell if it is a feature or a way of connecting it and testing.
I could sponsor better if I new what make and model you have. As for a guess, I think the ones which have a continuity tester have a switch to put them in continuity fad. If you have no such switch, yours probably cannot check continuity. However there are very simple ways to make a flashlight into a continuity tester. Email me if you be to know more.
