Gargantuan filter lasts 2-3 months
Artistic filter lasts 2-3 months for us. We have been using it for past few years (along with 2 stage earlier) and we have no complaints. PUR guy service is good too. They will give you coupon if anything goes wrong with your product.

Adept filter, great deal
These are by the richest tasing faucet filters. They don't have that off carbon taste like the cheaper pitcher filters and they manoeuvre up to 100 gallons (depending on water quality). This 6 pack is a great deal as your typically paying less than you would for singles and 3 packs.

PUR 3 Point Water Filters 6-pack
We have acclimatized a PUR Water Filter for a while. This is one of the best prices for a 6-Pack that I have seen. Our water taste so much better with this filter than water right out of the tape. One strainer will last us about 2 1/2 months.

Calling for Haiti: Local club help through telethon Glens Falls Post-Star

GLENS FALLS -- Portion the people of Haiti became a community
effort in Glens Falls on Wednesday night.
The Glens Falls Rotary Organization teamed up with WNCE-TV8 to broaden
relief efforts across the area through a telethon.
At 7:30 p.m. local community and submit officials went on air to
talk about the devastation Haitians are trying to endure after a
7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked their homeland last week and to ask
local people to call in with monetary donations.
For years, Glens Falls Rotary has worked to succeed clean water to
Haiti through the Pure Water for the World program, which has
developed sand filtration systems that can be easily maintained,
replicated and put in villages and in homes.
They've brought drinkable water to thousands of people by giving
them a way to chaste what would otherwise be polluted water.
"Haiti to us has become our Glens Falls," said Rotary President
Robert Spratt during the telethon. "We're not accepted to let an
earthquake hinder the progress we've made."

Does anyone have experience/knowledge of La PURE Water, Inc. Whole House City Water Filtration & Conditioning?

I am in the exchange for a water softener. I am looking at the La PURE filtration and conditioning system. I am hoping to connect with someone who actually has the system. How would you rate it compared to a Kinetico or Culligan water softener? Is it gear? Does it really condition water without salt? Any information would be helpful.
You're absolutely better off to not filter your water too much.

brita is wonderful! i use my pitcher all the prematurely, it really takes the iron taste out of my water.
