Down-to-earth installation and great filter!
Although the article was purchased as used due to an open package, all the necessary parts were included. The installation instructions were discerning and concise. Once installed the filter worked very well, eliminating the clorine treated taste from the water. No more bottled water! I only refill my water bottles, take one in the car, and leave a couple cooling in the fridge. Great value!
Top FILTER!!!
Purchased this undersink system and had it installed as as part of a scullery remodel. AWESOME FILTER! We are on a municipal source that has a strong chlorine taste, and a nasty odor. We are used to buying lots of bottled water, but not anymore! Since a professional installed the unit, I cannot speak to the ease of inauguration. However, the item does perform as hoped. It removed the chlorine smell and taste, as well as the other smells from the water. So much more discerning than the filters that fit on the end of the facuet, and the price difference is worth the investment. My only complaint is that the little chrome/fake faucet may not hold up to heavy use, but that's an easy replacement with a better one should it fail. I would highly recommend this particular.
Tickety-boo product for the money!
Tried several other filters, bigger and more priceless. They work well but upon getting a new sub zero refrig, I was surprised to see there was no filter for the ice maker and water dispenser. The plumber hooked it up to the megalopolis water. Well the ice was bad tasting and the copper line he used developed pin hole leaks (corrosion from elements in the water) I went on the go in quest of for a water filter. I got this one, it uses plastic lines and replaceable cartridges. Right away the water was better tasting and the ice was bar as well. They make 4 different levels of filtering depending on what your problem is. I have been using level one, and it is great and the cartridge will last for 3000 gallons. If there is a downside to me it would be the drift rate. This is intended for a refrig/ice makers, don't expect to put out a fire with this. But for coffee and drinking water...this is a great product.
Works skilled for us!
I searched the internet for the superlative deal I could find on a drinking water filtration system. I finally settled on this one. It was relatively easy to install - I have basic homeowner enterprise skills. It works great - water tastes great. I haven't replaced the filter yet.

It did come with a sale-priced plastic faucet. I did opt for another faucet that Amazon recommended. In hind sight, I think I should have used the faucet that came with the carton. It didn't look that bad and the switch to turn on the water isn't spring loaded. At this point, I don't want to take it apart to try the first faucet. Besides, my wife likes it and I learned long ago not to mess with a finished project after is has been "approved."
Much improve than the GE version
I purchased the Culligan piece to replace a GE undersink water filter I had been using. The GE filters had a very short life. Already I can see that the Culligan product lasts much longer and the water tastes marvellous. This is a good alternative to purchasing bottled water. It is handy for cooking also. The install is easy IF you have an extra cavity in your sink. In our case we used the squirter hose hole and have an all in one faucet with the hose built in.

Why would water back up into my washer while my water filtration system is rejuvinating?

The water system guy increased the animate presure of my well a couple weeks ago stating that my water filtration system was not working properly since pump was set at 20/40 psi? He increased it to 40/60 psi. Now when the water filtration system rejuvenates, water backs up into my washer tub. I am also on a septic too but this is unwavering water and does not smell, nor did this happen prior to him changing this dial on my well pump. What is wrong here? I have been in this house for 10 years and had the water filtration system for 9 years. He has been the same water guy who has been to my house each year to change my filters the whole time. But since I have a high content of iron in my water, he has to rebuild the heads on my filtration system each year. He said increasing the distress of my well pump would stop this problem. Now I have a new one and he is saying it's my septic. Someone please help?

when was the last interval your holding tank was cleaned?
not that i think that is the problem if it was everything would be backing up or you would have a new pond forming on your lawn.
as for the veritable problem, is this water system self cleaning
r's has an auto cycle that backwashes the system maybe it's well-deserved not draining properly (at first i thought it was screwed till i found out it was made that way)

From my experiences with my washer ...the bring back of water is usually due to weakness of the machine valve (it is the part that controls the return of water into the washer) .. I usually desideratum to change it every two or three years for the same problem ....

What is the best water filtration system?

We have atrocious lime and calcium build up - very hard water. We want an entire water softner/filtration system.

Bottled water or attachments for the deteriorate is not what I am talking about, it needs to be for laundry, showers, drinking, cooking, etc.

Please help!

What you're looking for is termed a "whole-descendants filtration system." The biggest name in that industry, at least in the U.S., is Culligan ("Hey, Culligan man!"). There is some minor sustentation and replenishment involved with those systems but it's worth it.

It makes a big difference when you have hard water: clothes get cleaner with less soap, plumbing works advance, etc.

How deep should water be on elbow of undergravel filtration system in fish tank?

20 gallon hex tank - alternative water filtration system (LEE) with tubes going up to top with elbows connecting .... should these elbows be submerged? depth of water on elbows?

i generally speaking keep them about 1'' below the surface, but a powerhead operated RUGF (reverse under-gravel filter) with a good HOB or canister clean would work much better..

then again so would a non-hexagonal tank
